WHAT A PRICELESS NIGHT!!!!
Roses were placed in a vase! (vintage green I might add)
Crowns were made for the special "back to school kiddies!"
Our family theme "Take 5" was ready for the upcoming year!
With the busy school year, whenever we say Take 5 - that could mean five minutes of scripture reading or five minutes alone with mom or dad, the list goes on from there!
Food was served!!! The menu included Pot roast and gravy,
corn on the cob, mashed potates, salad and watermelon.
Don't forget dessert (angel food cake with raspberries and fresh cream!)
My favorite part!
Smiles were shared!
Goals were made for the new year (The best was Parker's goal "I will spell dog! can I have a dog if I can spell dog? To which I would say, "nice try little guy - thanks for playing!")
Father's blessings were given!
Thank you's were doled out (These poor kids thought that royalty
were coming to our house with the spread of food!) Just goes to
show that I have not been the best cook this Summer!
We are amazed that all four kids will be heading to school this year! We wanted to have a memorable night for the kids before the madness begins!
GOOD TIMES!!
I saw this similar thing done on Nienie's site and so thanks to her inspiration we held our back to school night at our house instead of a restaurant!
