Last Stop - Queenstown - AKA Adventure City!

That is no understatement when they say that Queenstown is where you go to have adventure and they are in no short supply of it either. I thought this place was "Quite Lovely" and we are so happy that we ended our trip in this amazing city. {I tell you what - if you ever plan on going to New Zealand - call me- as we hit all of the local hot spots for tourists!}
I can honestly say that it was hard to leave this beautiful country and we fell in love with the people {made a lot of new facebook friends} the language {we spoke like the "Kiwis" every chance we got - me more than Bart} the food {goes without saying - the pictures show how much I expanded on this little "holiday"} and every area we were able to visit!

But Yowza! Back to the adventure part! Here is the lowdown on what we did! Enjoy!
When we arrived in Queenstown we rented our first car - Bart was an instant pro at driving on the left side - I'm glad it was him and not me!

We immediately went on a Sheep farm tour and grabbed the ferry boat to take us over to this beautiful little place.

Once there, we got to feed the animals...
Hold the animals...
Watch the sheep be shorn...
Experience High Tea and take in the sights!

Bungy Jumping!!!
I am still in complete amazement that I did this! My hands were sweating for about 4 hours straight until I got the nerve to do it! Bart, on the other hand, jumped twice and made it look so easy!
This had to have been the scariest thing I have ever done!
I have to take pause and recognize the food that we enjoyed so much {too much if I am being honest!}
We ate at Fergberger a couple of times - they seriously serve the world's biggest burgers!
Each night we whipped up our own pavlova dessert - I can never eat too much of that stuff!
After all of the eating, we did quite a lot of hiking and walking. The scenery around us was incredible.

We also stopped at little parks and I got some great shots of this boy in his "Sweet As" shirt - which means "I agree with whatever you say!" in Kiwi talk!

SKY-DIVING!!
This had to have been the highlight of our trip to New Zealand - everywhere we went people were saying that to experience NZ you had to skydive - from the amazing views to the safest tandem jumpers - it was a must do!
Well, I will admit, this was never on my bucket list of things to accomplish so I said No thanks and watched my cute hubby go up and away!
Isn't that amazing?
Needless to say, I got the skydive "bug" and decided I would take a leap of faith myself!
I SERIOUSLY can not believe I did it!

That is me! Crazy!!!!
I could not sleep a wink that night! I just kept replaying it over and over in my mind that I did it and it was one of the funnest experiences I have ever had!

It was a "Good as Gold" trip for us I must say! {insert New Zealand accent}
Now back to reality! Sigh!

OMG! (Gosh),
That looks like so much dang fun! The bungie jumping would've made my heart stop other unpleasant bodily funtions happen, but how exciting! I would totally do that jumping-out-of-an-airplane-with-a-hot-guy-strapped-to-my-back thing!
That looked like the adventure of a lifetime. I am so jealous right now! What a great experience for you guys, thanks for sharing!
