I LOVE LOVE LOVE the holidays because you get to bake and create little goodies for all of your teachers, visiting teachers and "Ghoulfriends!"
We saw candy bars like these ones when we were in Utah and we thought "Oh... we can so make those!".. and make them I did! I made about 20 odd candy bars for the peeps on my list and I had so much fun I thought I'd share! You're welcome!

Step 1: But a gazillion candy bars - the Symphony ones are a great size because they are so big!
Step 2: Take off the wrapper to expose the silver covering!
Step 3: Wrap it in scrapbook paper - Martha Stewart has really cute Halloween design paper at Micheals!

Step 4: Add vintage labels - I googled these and printed them from home!
Step 5: Buy tons of chunky and fun Halloween ribbon. Tie together 6 or 7 strips and tie off the center with a small piece of ribbon.
Step 7: Pass out to all of your favorite Ghouls and Ghosts and wait for the "Ooohs and Aaahs"- I promise that they will come!

I'm glad I don't have kids in your kids' classes...with me trying to live up to all your gifts :-). Although you did make it look simple enough that I may have to give it a try...or just eat candy bars instead.
Where is my ghoulish treat? I won't take it personally, but (sniff sniff) we like to walk fast, we don't saunter through the park, we do triathlons. I thought there was a bond there. hee hee hee
