Countdown to school!

For FHE, I made this paper chain and told the kids that we only had a couple of weeks left before school starts up again! So... each day we will take off one of the chains and it has an activity or craft to make together.

Day one started today and we made slime! This was so easy to make and the kids loved it - from the oldest to the youngest!

You need a plastic ziploc bag and in the bag you put 1/4 cup liquid starch and three drops of food coloring. Than you add 1/4 cup of glue and mix it really well.
It will still be wet once you take it out of the bag but as you play with it - it will change into slime!

Maddie mixing her slime!

They played with their slime for quite a while and than we put them in ziploc baggies and stuck them in the fridge.

Tomorrow we will be making paper necklaces
Parker can make a bracelet! :0)

How long did it take before the gross noises made by slime started?
