Tonight for dinner I made soup and quesadillas - favorite fast stand-by!
Anywho - Bailey started to eat her soup and she said "This is gross! I don't want it!" To which being the nasty make-you-feel-guilty-mom approach - I said, "You will eat it because what would you do if we were really poor and this was the only thing you had to eat?"
She than forced herself to take another bite, crinkled up her nose, pretended to throw up and said, "How do the poor people eat this gross stuff?"

Why do we always say stuff like that to our kids. I usually make them eat it anyway. Well, except Lily. I can't make her do anything.
I've never met her, but I can tell she is chock full of personality :)
