Last night when Bart and I were going to bed, we found a note on our pillow from Caitlin - she really enjoyed going to the Polinsky Center last night! I love when you see one of your kids get what you are trying to teach them! I also realized that I need to do more of that with my children. We all could be better GIVERS!!!!Also, tonight we read a little Christmas story and made these yummy Snowflake tortillas. they are simple - just take tortillas, a little bit of olive oil brushed on top. Throw them in the oven at 400 for about 4 minutes. Once they're baked, you pull them out, sift some powdered sugar and edible glitter on them. Eat away!
Parker wanted a batman snowflake! That was the best I could do!
He liked it!

heather...i swear you wrote that letter! i cannot believe how much her handwriting is yours!! and the tortillas look awesome!
So cute!
What a sweet girl you have.
I remember taking Evan to St Vincent De Paul's and he cried after because he'd never seen hungry children.
Giving is the best and I love when they get it and a little gratitude too.
So sweet...what a cutie he is!

How sweet. I'm going to have to try those tortilla snowflakes.
The tortillas definitely look tasty.
What a sweet girl Caitlin is. Her handwriting is similar to yours if I remember right.
Batman snowflakes would be a HUGE hit in my house.
It looks to me, like some Mom's get it!
I just love a grateful child, some seem to be more so than others. I went to my doctor today, he is still saying girl, so maybe I should just believe it and be excited. I am so bummed I won't get to party with you on the 19th, we are leaving town that day.
Well HELLO my friend (friends)!
Sam and I have been reading and catching up with you guys. We miss you. :(
Glad to see everything is well, and knees are healed up...
Let us know next time you are around these parts.
OK-I am serious about wanting to "clone" Caitlin...or better yet all your cute kids! She is such a sweet girl! You have the best family. I agree with Tara: "looks to me like some moms get it!"
What a great experience for your kids!
Darling Blog!
These are adorable!! I bet they can be made with pastry dough.. rolled out really thin, cut into your snowflake shapes and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. You have a beautiful blog and family.. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
