Pumpkin Patch and Halloween Carnivals!

We took the kids (my dad and I) to their schools Halloween Carnival on Saturday! I am so grateful that my dad went with me as I was failing at keeping up with the kiddies and hopping on a crutch that looks like a costume didn't help!
(I seriously saw people trying to figure out who I was dressed up like!)

The kids loved it and they had so much fun with Grandpa. When it got really hot, my dad bought them snow cones that were bigger than their heads! They loved them - what a fun day! Thanks Dad!

For Family Home Evening tonight, we met Grandpa Rod and Grandma Sue and did our traditional jaunt to the Pumpkin Patch!
Of course, I always bribe the kids (and my husband) that we will do whatever they want as soon as they sit by the pumpkins and take some annual pictures!
Cue the drum roll...
They actually smiled...at the same time!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! We had so much fun!
Or as Parker said, 'Tonight was my Fwavowit!" (AKA - favorite!)
I couldn't agree more little buddy!

FUN! Do you make them sit on Santa's lap, too? (I say that because I remember your mom making you guys...and sometimes me...sit on Santa's lap, the Easter Bunny's lap, etc.)

You are just like me - get the photos over and done with as soon as we get there and then it is a free for all and everyone is happy!

Sounds like you had a great time!! I am jealous that you had snowcones in October because it was sooo hot. LOL We are freezing over here, no snowcones for us. We live on hot chocolate.

Okay, you and Bart don't look a day older than when I saw you last. That was in 1996!
