Babysitting Boot camp!

My sweet little Caitlin is almost ready to be "used and abused" by her mother as I can not wait for her to babysit for me. A friend in our ward who teaches piano lessons asked me if Caitlin could start babysitting for her during the lessons. This is such a big deal as she will be getting paid to watch three little kids and the mom will be there in the home. Catherine, the mom, was telling me that she is a great "babysitter trainer" and I know this will be a great starter for her before she begins to do the real thing. I was telling Caitlin how important it is to be attentive to the kids and to always clean up. When Caitlin got home she was so excited as she got $20 (for the next two weeks) and she told me that Catherine was really impressed with her because she kept the little ones happy and she also cleaned their rooms! That's right... my daughter the babysitter! My only problem is that Caitlin will want to babysit for anyone but her own siblings! Will I need to up minimum wage for my own kid? Maybe... if she throws in ironing and doing dishes.

She is so cute and I wish she lived close so I could hire her! Babysitters that clean are the BEST!!! We've thought about throwing in an extra $10 for a little cleaning/laundry folding...it would be so worth it!!
