Today started out pretty uneventful - if you call carpooling, running errands, getting poop from a diaper on my hand without any sanitizer in sight yada yada uneventful. But, if I admit it, most every day is crazy like that, and hence... uneventful. I took the girls to achievement days tonight and after I dropped them off I decided that I was going to go and run around the lake.Well, I had a such a sweet experience as I was going around the lake tonight. Right as I was about to turn a corner, my cute little dad came cruising by on his new Diamond Back bike. Crazy that we were both there at the same time. So, I picked up my stride (let's pretend I was running 7 minute miles) so that I would hopefully run into my dad as we were both finishing the lake. Sure enough we met up again and talked for a few minutes. When I got in the car (no joke) the song "Don't Blink" was playing on the country radio channel. I got teary eyed as I thought about how lucky I am to live near my parents and see them as often as I do. I just really felt so grateful for both my mom and dad.... so day over... chalk it up to Eventful!

This is such a great post! My dad just moved a couple of miles away from us & it really has been so great having him closer. Tell your cute dad hi for me!!
are you trying to rub it in??? it really makes me want to cry and move there today!! i seriously wish we lived closer...this is getting ridiculous!!
