Hiking with Dad!

When my dad asked myself and my sisters to go hiking with him, we of course jumped on board. Now, you have to consider that my dad hasn't even reached his year mark for having had hip surgery and so we were thinking this might be a walk in the park. Ha! Hardly - That almost 65-year-old man was more spry and fast than the three of us put together. It was so fun as we left really early and my dad took us to his old stomping grounds in Camp Pendleton where he worked for years.
We got to see all of the different paths he ran and it was so beautiful once we reached the top of the mountain. What an amazing view!
It was so cool because at the top of the mountain we hiked there was a metal box and my dad had put a sticky note in there with the last time he had been there {hiking with my sister} and it was still there! So, we had to leave a new note!
We had such a great time and can't wait to go again!
