2nd annual Back to school dinner!

This is a night that my kids have been asking about and I truly enjoy planning for! .

This is the night we eat together - talk about our theme for the upcoming year - get Father's blessings before school starts - and share about what we expect for the school year.

Our theme was Respect for one another in our family

We made these little hats as one of the crafts and they turned out cute but they didn't stay on very well.

I think the mint brownies won the prize!
Bye to summer and hello to Fall!
I'm not ready!!!!

Fabulous as always Heather! We started school too this week! I'll have to say our Sunday night was not quite as festive as yours!

I really like the theme for the year. This year I wrote their blessings down and am typing them up so they can refer to them through out the year. Might have to mix the two next year! ;)

What a neat tradition. Helps take off the sting of going back to school. I'm not ready for it either.

Amazing! You MUST be a stay at home mom. Still, even with that said, I wouldn't have time to do all these extra things you do.
