Gardener for hire

On any given week, Caitlin has choir at her school, piano lessons, softball practices and games.
Maddie is busy with piano lessons, singing in the choir I teach at her school, and swimming on swim team three times a week (don't even get me started on the swim meets on Saturdays!)
Bailey is singing at the choir and starting gymnastics again!
So... that leaves Parker with not much else to do but sit in his car seat, drive around for hours and be waiting all of the time!

I asked him what he would like to do and what he thought would be fun.... he came up with a "grass cutter". When I asked him what he meant, he grabbed a pair of scissors, asked me for a bucket (the best I could do was give him a cup) and he took me outside while he started manicuring our yard. Hey... can't beat that - with the way the economy is going, we might just want to give up our gardeners and use cheap labor.

That's hilarious. Totally sounds like something my kids would come up with. And seriously, how in the world are you such a super mom? With how busy your kids are, how do you make it look so effortless and even find time to bake amazing goodies and wrap them in adorable packaging all the time? Send tips my way please. :)

Ah, the plight of the youngest children in-the-car syndrome. I just LOVE that he wants to prune the grounds :)

It's the simple joys in life that mean the most! I've got some grass over here he could cut.(and a dog to play with...)
