Caroling to the Old Folks!

Last night for FHE, we went to an Old Folks rest home and sang Christmas carols. I was a little bit in the Humbug spirit and not to excited to go as I was leaving behind a messy house and a list a mile long of things to get done this week! But, I am so glad that we went! It was so fun to visit with the "Grandmas and Grandpas" - as my kids call them! Everyone wants to feel loved and it was so fun to see them light up as our little kids came to entertain and play with! I told my kids when I get old and they throw me in a home like that (I just have a feeling that they will) they had better come and visit me!

This cute "grandpa" had fun playing with Parker!

My kids loved the service dogs!

How fun....I am jealous! Those pictures are great and isn't that how it always is. You have a thousand things to do and your attitude isn't always above par and then you show up and love it, lessons we are constantly learning!

Sure, go ahead and have 8 posts while I have no time to catch up on blogging!

Love all the pics. You certainly know how to have good times at your house.

You are one awesome family, that is so cool that you did that. We considered that for an activity days activity, but took the easy way out and caroled to widows in the ward.
