Now, I don't mean any disrespect by the title, but my cute dad and two other great and amazing men were just called into the stake presidency in our church! Wow! They are going to be so wonderful and bring in an entire new feeling into our stake. I know that my dad feels a little daunted by having to leave his calling as bishop... but hey - more people need to be uplifted and laugh at his silly jokes. I remember growing up and how many of my friends would say how lucky I was to have a dad like mine! I have always felt very Lucky! I even think that boys liked me so that they could come over and be around my dad! Did I just admit that out loud? Dad - you are the best and will be loved by even more people than you can imagine! Hey, can I get a temple recommend ASAP?

so glad that you put this on, because we ditched stake conference completely (no way I'm going to sit in those horribly uncomfortable chairs in my "condition"...) and I had no idea who had been called! now you know you'll be the one asked to give the "spontaneous testimony" each stake conference! :)-
I LOVE those pics...your dad will be FANTASTIC!!! I love Bishop Ellsworth too!! I don't know Bishop Stapley...but that will be a GREAT Stake Presidency...now who will be the next bishop!!

Lucky Stake....unlucky ward. Although he's really not going far, his absence will be felt by all. He is the emotional glue that helps bind our ward together & we will miss him! Big shoes he has left for the next Bishop:-)
