Canada - Here come the Sadleir's!

We went on a cruise to Vancouver Canada with Bart's entire family! It was a lot of fun but wow was it crazy to have so many little kids. We were hated as it was definitely not a Disney cruise! The average age was mid-70's. We actually laughed that it looked like a bunch of grandparents that were getting away from their own grandkids. Oh well! We had a great time - once the boat stopped rocking.
Notice the crutches that I am sporting? I dislocated my knee the day of the trip and so I was hobbling around on a brace and crutches the whole time! Lovely!

After the cruise, we went to Vancouver for four days! It was so much fun and we took a ton of pictures!

We first went to Granville Island in Vancouver!

Parker loved chasing the birdies!
Then we were off to China town! The girls about died with the smell of fish! Here they are standing next to a real treat - dried lizard! Yummy!
Bart took the girls to North Vancouver for the day so they could hike and go over suspension bridges!

My sister Jen actually brought these chips back with her from her mission and I have been craving them ever since. Ketchup and Dill Pickle chips! Totally cholesterol Free!
We absolutely loved Butchart Gardens - amazing! It is on Victoria and we took our cars on the ferry and drove over to see the flowers.

The last day we went to Stanley Park - they have amazing parks and cherry Blossom trees everywhere! We were so sad to leave!

I got to spend some time with my cute friend Libby, from high school, who now lives in Vancouver - Lucky girl!

The boys took farewell photos with their Magnum rental cars! They had fun zooming around in Vancouver!

Ooohhh, I LOVE your pictures--especially of Stanley Park. I'm so jealous you guys were in heaven. Brings back so many memories! I feel so bad about your knee (and even worse that I was hardly surprised to see you on crutches at church Sunday)! Thanks for sharing...talk soon- jen

Heather--LOVE the pictures!! Dave and I have been wanting to go there...We have thought about going in August because he has a training in Seattle so it would be easy to make the trip then!! We'll see!! What did the doc say about your knee? Will you need surgery!!?
