Bart surprises me yet again!

Okay all I have to say is that Bart is amazing and he never ... I mean never ceases to surprise me! I say that literally as I noticed that Bart had written "Date Night" on the calendar. He told me that his mom was going to watch the kids while we went to dinner. Being a bipolar brat that I was that night, I wasn't very excited as I was thinking of all of the things I needed to do around the house and prepare for Valentines day. Needless to say, we went and Bart told me that we were going to eat a valentine buffet special at Viejas casino. He said that he had been down there earlier that day with a client and that the food looked really good! If any of you know Bart, a casino buffet isn't really his scene, but whatever - I was still in brat mode so I fell for it.
When we got there, the valet took our car keys and said "Hope you enjoy the concert!" I turned to Bart and said "what concert is he talking about?" Bart gave me his believable look and said "I have no idea!" (Bart is so sneaky!) I still thought nothing of it, until Bart handed me an envelope and there were two tickets to go see Colbie Caillat - I was so surprised (did I mention that I HATE surprises) and had no idea that she was even in town. So bye bye bipolar and hello happiness! The concert was amazing and Bart told me tht it was nothing short of a miracle that I didn't find out what he had done. When he explained what it took to get the tickets and how he had literally cried that day driving around because he was so excited to take me - I realized in that moment - I am not worthy of this sweet thoughtful man! He is the BEST and I can't wait to surprise him! I am way over-due! Bart Sadleir - I love you!




Side note - it was standing room only and when we got in, most of the people in front of us had gone off to get drinks so we were super close to the front! Her concert was amazing!
