Why clean up?

We heard Grandpa was coming over to eat dinner - so I jumped into cleaning up toys and making the place look good! 

 Then they do this! So... what's the point?

    My boys tell me the same thing when I tell them to clean up - that it will just get messy again.

    What is the obsession with taking all the pillows off the couch? It kills me! By the way, I love your Phil from Modern Family post. He is my FAVORITE! I love that show. You know we call him Mark Mendenhall, which means he is also Bart!
