Christchurch, New Zealand!

We are amazed how each new place brings a completely different feel and excitement as each area is different and unique! Christchurch is absolutely breathtaking as you walk around and are surrounded by so many colors and the history of this beautiful place is really amazing!
Right when we arrived in Christchurch we landed in Cathedral Square and found a huge group of Maori's dancing and singing. They were amazing and we managed to sneak some of them aside for a picture.  The square is full of people and activity - lots of energy!

We fell in love with this all boys school -the uniforms are so cool and we felt like they were at a school for Harry Potter - do they even know how gorgeous their campus is?

We decided that right after we checked into our hotel at the Ridges, we would Hire (rent) bikes for the day and go exploring. That was so worth it and we probably rode for about 30 plus miles. The hardest part was leaving the city and having to remember that the cars drive on the left, the turns are different - it was a lot for my brain to handle.

We took a break at one point and Bart was making me laugh at all of his silly faces. I don't think he quite realized I would be snapping away the entire time!

The next day started by going to Mona Vale which has so many beautiful gardens and as you can see many places for picture taking! We could have spent forever there just walking around!
We also went to the Gondola and took a ride to the top where we could hike around and look at the view below of Christchurch! Again very Beautiful!!

There was a little place at the bottom of the Gondola where we ate Fish and Chips - we could not believe the amount of food we got for such a cheap price! It was sooo yummy! I have to have gained some good weight on this little trip!

Punting on the Avon River is a must do!

We ended our day by taking the tram around the city and stopping at different places to walk around . This place is just like it looks - almost too much to take in! I am so glad that we crammed in as much as we could in the couple of days we had here.

Now we are in Queenstown and the adventures are only getting bigger and better! Can that even be possible?
